About us

I am Alex Ódor, the founder of the Fokos Gin Manufactory.

I encountered the institution of gin and tonics relatively late, around the age of 30.

I don't remember exactly what brand it was, but I remember that it was really good. It was delicious, fresh, and somehow I wasn't sick the next day like I usually am.

Since then, I've tried all kinds of brands, all kinds of styles of gin, and now I think I've found that drink, that mix, in the gin and tonic.

who doesn't ask me for anything in return the next day.

I saw the potential in it and thought I would make the finest gin in the area.

I quickly found and put people by my side who were all professionals in their own fields, and we started working.

Together we have come incredibly far: we created our own recipe, which was finally poured into our glasses by one of the best distiller artists in the country. He has been dealing with spirits longer than I have been alive, and has been practicing quality bottling for almost forty years.

It worked so well that I thought I'd show it to others, and since I had nothing else to do, I put it on the market.
